Dr. Casey McKeown DC, DACBSP

Dr. McKeown received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in 2002 from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. In the Fall of 2004, he entered Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. In 2007, he graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) and began practicing as an Associate Doctor in Newport, Oregon. After 8 months of practice, he purchased a practice of his own and relocated to the Grande Ronde Valley in Eastern Oregon. Following chiropractic school, Dr. McKeown invested an additional 3 years of study to enhance his sports expertise. In 2011, Dr. McKeown became a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP), making him one of only 240 chiropractors in the country who have received this elite credential.

While in college, Dr. McKeown competed for 4 years in Track and Field, both indoor and outdoor seasons. This coupled with his post-graduate education has allowed him to have a unique grasp and understanding of sports related injuries and how to treat and prevent them.

Dr. McKeown has participated in various sports including football, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Currently, Dr. McKeown continues to be an avid runner and has competed in several long distance relay races and marathons including Hood to Coast, Cascade Lakes, Rainier to Pacific, and the Portland Marathon. He is also continuing to play basketball and just recently, with his team, won a title at Hoopfest in Spokane, Washington. When it gets too cold outside, Dr. McKeown can be found snowboarding up at Anthony Lakes or other great mountains in the Northwest.
